Craig Duensing is the PCA Vocal Dirctor. He is also Fine Arts Director and Director of Choral Activities at Richland Northeast High School; Adjunct Professor at Columbia International University; Minister of Music, Lugoff First Baptist Church; Adjunct Professor, Columbia International University; former Director of the TriDistrict Arts Consortium (TriDAC); and former Associate Conductor, Palmetto Mastersingers) He received a BS in Education and an MME from the University of South Carolina and has done postgraduate work at USC and Winthrop University. He was named 1994 Richland Northeast Teacher of the Year and the 1995 Richland Two District Teacher of the Year. In 1999 Mr. Duensing was selected to travel to Japan as a Fulbright Memorial Scholar for a three-week cooperative learning seminar. Mr. Duensing has served as guest clinician and adjudicator at state functions; accompanist for SC AllState Honors Chorus on three occasions; and past instructor in keyboard and music theory for TriDAC. His Richland Northeast High School Chorale is a consistent winner in regional festivals – including the 1994 group which took four First Place Awards at the Music Showcase Festival in Nashville, Tennessee. In 2000, Mr. Duensing conducted a 225voice choir and orchestra in a presentation of Handel’s Samson.
