Anne Richardson, PCA Dance Program Director, began dance training at Calvert-Brodie School of Dance in Columbia, S C, and studied dance in New York City at the Joffrey School and American Ballet Theatre School. She received a BA in Dance Performance from Point Park College in Pittsburgh, PA. Anne received her Interdisciplinary Masters of Arts (1997) and a Masters in Educational Administration (2001) from USC, as well as her doctorate in Educational Leadership, Nova Southeastern University (2008)..She was a principal dancer for Columbia City Ballet and South Carolina Ballet Theatre, the American Dance Ensemble and an apprentice with the Pittsburgh Ballet Company. Miss Richardson returned to Columbia to teach in the Gifted and Talented Program in Richland School District 1, where she taught for twenty-two years. As the Artistic Director for Dansework-Jazz for ten years, Miss Richardson took the company all over the Southeast to perform including at the Jazz on Tap in Atlanta, Georgia, and at the Piccolo Spoleto Festival in Charleston, SC. She is a master teacher in Dance, guest teacher, and choreographer for several theatres, dance companies, and organiztions state-wide and nationally. Click
